Weymouth Teen With Four Loko Has Underage Alcohol Charges Dismissed

Weymouth Teen Has Charge of Underage Alcohol Possession, Trespassing Dismissed

Megan Keohan, 18, of 102 Summer St., Weymouth had charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol and trespassing dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charges stemmed from a July 14 incident in Weymouth at 8:53 p.m. when police responded to a report of a group of youths seated in the bleachers at the Landing basketball court. Police alleged Keohan had a can of Four Loko, which contains 12 percent alcohol, according to the police report.

Court Dismisses Assault and Battery Charge

Michael L. Kalil, 60, of 7 Padula Road, Weymouth had a charge of assault and battery dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charge stemmed from a April 23 incident in Weymouth at 7:09 p.m. when police were dispatched to 7 Padula Road for a report of a domestic incident. Police said the incident allegedly occurred over an argument over the use of an automobile.

Court Dismisses Restraining Order Violation Charge

Barry C. Abelson, 65, of 184 Pond St., Sharon had a charge of violation of a harassment prevention order dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charge stemmed from a April 11, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 5:30 p.m. when police responded to a report of a man driving past the alleged victim's house, then allegedly making a gesture that he was going to slice the woman's throat. The man then drove away, police said in the incident report.
