Weymouth Man Faces Marijuana Distrubtion Charge
Jonathan A. Taylor, 19, of 69 Colonel's Lane, Apt. 3, East Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of possession to distrubute a Class D drug. The case was continued to Dec. 31. Taylor was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a June incident in Weymouth at 9:08 p.m. when police were dispatched to the rear parking lot at 5 Old Stone Way in response to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Police said they observed youth huddled over the trunk of another vehicle and spotted what appeared to be marijuana, baggies, and a digital scale.
Weymouth Woman Faces Larceny Charge
Sherilyn K. Moore, 24, of 504 Broad St., Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of larceny over $250. The case was continued to Jan. 15. Moore was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a April 26 incident in Quincy at Dunkin' Donuts, 195 Newport Ave., where Moore, then a store employee, was allegedly caught stealing money, according to the police report. Police said the company reported $1,500 to $1,600 in missing funds.
Weymouth Man Charged With Restraining Order Violation
Paul Mcelroy, 18, of 26 Lantern Lane, East Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order. The case was continued to Jan. 11. Mcelroy was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a Sept. 7 incident in Weymouth at 8:40 p.m. when police allegedly observed Mcelroy at a Weymouth High School football game in violation of an active restraining order.
