Lauren’s Massage welcomes Celeste Holistic Skin Care to its new location in Norwell

NORWELL, MA, APRIL 17, 2014…Visitors to Lauren’s Massage (www.LaurensMassage.com) can now also book appointments for skin care, as the practice announces an expansion of services.

Celeste Holistic Skin Care is joining the new location of Lauren’s Massage, 163 Washington Street #2, Norwell.

Christine Tempesta Clark is the former owner of Center Skin Care Studio in Hingham and worked as an esthetician for many years at Saisons Skin Care, also of Hingham. She brings with her 25 years’ experience in the holistic skin care field. She is trained in many different modalities and treatment protocols, including massage, Reiki, Nutrition, micro-dermabrasion and chemical peels.

Facial Treatments are result oriented and customized to meet the individual needs of the client. This is achieved through the use of cutting edge peels, combined with age-old holistic therapies. A strong emphasis is also placed on the role of nutrition and stress reduction to treat certain skin issues. The basic “Celeste” facial incorporates hot and cold stone massage, aromatherapy, energy work, essential oils and botanicals.

Lauren’s Massage is an independent practice, not part of a chain or corporation. The practice was founded by Lauren Turner, a Bridgewater, MA resident.  She began her education at the Massage Institute of New England where she studied massage therapy including Deep tissue, Swedish and Esalen. From those studies, she graduated with a certification recognized by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) LCMT. She has also studied Cranio-sacral therapy through the Upledger Institute, and has broadened her education to include energy work in Reiki I and Reiki II, Reflexology, Neuromuscular therapy and Cervical and upper Thoracic pain conditions.

She is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). She is also a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York City where her coursework was focused on whole foods/primary foods, cooking, additional massage education, yoga and meditation.

Part of her team is Alice Arena LCMT who has been on board since 2004. She graduated from Healing Touch Institute in 2004. Now joining in a collaborated business is Christine  Tempesta Clark of Celeste Holistic Skincare; both practices operate from the same location.
