Weymouth Student Wins New Bike Thanks to Dependable Cleaners’ Read to Ride Program

(Quincy, Mass.) Dependable Cleaners is pleased to announce that Weymouth student Briana Young has won a new bike through its annual Read to Ride program. The program is designed to encourage students to keep up with their reading during the summer months. Students from ages 6-15 will have the chance to win a bike or an exciting prize for every book they read. Since the program’s inception in 1999, more than 61,000 books have been read.

Briana is an eleven year old student at Abigail Adams Middle School in Weymouth, and will be in the sixth grade this fall. This is her fourth summer participating in the Read to Ride program and has submitted about 10 entries each summer. This summer, she has read about seven books and her favorite was “Speechless

by Hannah Harrington.  Briana is excited to continue reading this summer and ride her new bike that she picked out at Country Ski & Sport in Quincy. She dropped her winning entry off at the Dependable Cleaners in North Weymouth located at 550 Bridge Street.
