Hingham Weather Forecaster Michael Page is predicting up to 18 inches of snow in Weymouth by Saturday.
Page told Patch that the area could see anywhere from 12-18 inches.
“Snowfall amounts will be quite impressive,” Page said,
In some towns away from the coast, he predicts up to two feet of snow.
Weymouth residents should expect the flurries to start by 2 p.m. Friday, with an increase in intensity during the nighttime hours, Page said.
Residents should expect the storm to slow down by 8 a.m. Saturday, and end by the afternoon. The local forecaster also advises Weymouth residents to watch out for coastal flooding with high tides expecting to rise to 10 feet on Friday night and 11’ 5’’ by Saturday morning.
