Weymouth Woman Hits the Jackpot, Wins $1 Million
Johnson purchased her winning ticket at Granite Package located at 729 Granite Street in Braintree.
A Weymouth woman won the lottery on Monday.
Lisa Mary Johnson, of Weymouth claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Jackpot” instant game.
She is the third Lottery player to win a $1 million prize in the $10 game, according to MassLottery.com.
Johnson will take home a one-time lump sum of $650,000 after she selected the cash option on the prize, according to MassLottery.com.

With the money, she plans to pay off her mother’s mortgage, go back to school and to help pay her daughter’s tuition in the future.

The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
There are five Grand Prizes of $4 million and 12 $1 million prizes remaining in the $10 game.
