Naval Aviation Museum Open in Weymouth

The museum in South Weymouth is open on the second and last Saturday of every month.

The Weymouth Rotary  announced earlier this month that the Shea Naval Aviation Museum in South Weymouth is now open to the public.

Alden Blaho, President of the club said the museum is open every second Saturday 9am-noon, and last Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

“If you're in the area and would like to look at all of the memorabilia and interesting artifacts collected by the museum, I encourage you to visit…” said Lois Drukman of the Weymouth Rotary.

The museum serves as a repository of photographs and artifacts pertaining to the military history of NAS South Weymouth and NAS Squantum. 

Guest speakers are hosted at least three times per year.
