The Weymouth Farmers Market is celebrating a variety of special events this year.

Weymouth Landing will be celebrated on July 27, Bicknell Square on August 10 followed by Columbian Square on August 24.

Casey Savage, an assistant to Mayor Sue Kay at the Town Hall, explained that businesses from each of Weymouth’s villages will attend the market and live music will be present at these celebrations.
The Farmers Market is also holding a sunflower growing contest from June 29 to September 21 and a kid’s day on July 20.

The 2013 Farmers Market season will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until October 5 at the Weymouth Town Hall.
