Weymouth Library to Hold Halloween Costume Exchange

A fun new way to save some money this Halloween.

Any Weymouth parents that are tired of purchasing an expensive new Halloween costume for their kid, that will only be used once, will now has an alternative this season.

The Tufts Library will hold a costume exchange for Weymouth families leading up to this year’s Halloween season.  

Beginning Monday and running through Oct. 7, residents will be able to drop of gently used Halloween costumes at the Children’s Room for a costume exchange, according to the library.

Participants will be given one ticket for each costume donated.  They will then be able to exchange the ticket for a new costume on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Jones Meeting Room.There is a limit of one costume per ticket. 

From 7:30-8:30 p.m. that night, non ticket holders may choose leftover costumes at a requested donation of $2 to the Friends of the Weymouth Public Libraries.
