South Shore Hospital Points Out Cancer Risks to Women

On February 7, the hospital will discuss the recommended cancer screenings will explore common symptoms related to the diagnosis of breast and gynecologic cancers.

The South Shore Hospital wants women to know risk factors and risk reduction strategies associated with breast and gynecologic cancers.

On February 7, the hospital will discuss the recommended screenings for women and will explore common symptoms related to the diagnosis of breast and gynecologic cancers.

 Dana Dowd, a South Shore Hospital Breast Care Center nurse practitioner and Rosemary Joyce, a Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Practitioner , will be the presenters of the program.

The “Women’s Cancer Risks: What You Should Know” seminar will take place in the hospital’s 1st Floor Conference Room at 101 Columbian Street from 5-6 p.m.  Interested attendees must register at (781) 624-2312. 

The program is free and open to the public.
