Just days after a Brockton jury found James Winquist guilty of murder, his defense attorney plans to appeal.
before being arrested for the 2005 Hingham murder of two homeless men at Bare Cove, is facing two counts of second degree murder and will spend life in prison, WATD reported.
His attorney Joseph Krowski Jr. will hand over a notice of appeal to Plymouth County Superior Court on behalf of his client James Winquist.
Tuesday’s verdict came after a 12 day trial in which letters and phone calls between Winquist and a former co-defendant in the case, Eric Snow proved that the men brutally murdered two homeless men in a bunker in the park located on the West Hingham/ North Weymouth line. They are also believed to have severed one of the victims hands to earn their bones in a white supremacy group, WATD reported.
