Elderly Weymouth Couple Dead in Murder-Suicide, Police Say
Elizabeth A. Coyne, 81, and her husband, Donald P. Coyne, 83, were found dead in their Dunbar Road home Tuesday morning.
An elderly Weymouth couple was found dead Tuesday morning in what police say was a murder-suicide.
Elizabeth A. Coyne, 81, and her husband, Donald P. Coyne, 83, were found dead inside their home at 15 Dunbar Rd.
Police said a .25-caliber Walther pistol was found at Mr. Coyne's side. They said the gun belonged to him.
A family member who regularly visits the home found the couple dead and called police shortly after 7 a.m.
Police said the couple had lived at the home for a "long" time. They said they had no prior involvement with them, and there was no known history of domestic violence.
