Erratic Driver Charged With OUI After Six Hit and Run Accidents in Weymouth

Police said the six victims were fortunate to avoid head on collisions.

Weymouth police arrested a Holbrook man on Wednesday after he allegedly struck six vehicles with his Dodge Ram pickup truck with a plow, while driving on the wrong side of the road.

Police found Michael J. Foley, age 59, of Holbrook at the South Shore Hospital, after one witnessed followed his erratic vehicle, police said.

Police said Foley was at the South Shore Hospital because he was visiting someone.  He was administered field sobriety tests and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Foley was also charged with six counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, negligent operation of a vehicle, operating with a suspended license and marked lanes violations.
