Weymouth Man Charged with Larceny

Police said they confiscated three small lots of jewelry at a Weymouth store that is believed to have been stolen by a Weymouth man.

Weymouth Man Charged with Larceny

Timothy A. Tobin, 19, of 37 Blanchard Road, South Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on a larceny over $250 charge. The case was continued to Dec. 12. Tobin was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a July 24 incident in Weymouth at 5 p.m. when police continued an investigation into allegedly stolen jewelry. Police said they confiscated three small lots of jewelry at a Weymouth store that is believed to have been stolen.

Ann M. Paratore, 45, of 590 Middle St., Apt. 111, South Weymouth had charges of malicious damage to a m otor vehicle and conspiracy dismissed in Quincy District Court upon payment of $1,500 in restitution to the victim. The charges stemmed from a Sept 17, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 8:50 a.m. when police were dispatched to 160 Idlewell Blvd., for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. Police said the hood of the Dodge Durango appeared to have been scratched or damaged with a key. A co-defendant, William R. Smith Jr., 47, of 5 Summit Road, Plymouth also had charges of malicious damage to a  motor vehicle and conspiracy dismissed upon payment of $1,500 joint restitution to the victim, according to court records.

Assault and Battery Charge Dismissed

Kevin D. Smith, 24, of 92 Gordon Ave., Apt. 1, Hyde  Park had an assault and battery charge dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charge stemmed from a June 2, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 2:20 p.m. when police were dispatched to CVS, 474 Washington St., for a report of a man yelling at a person inside a vehicle.
