Fall River Man held Without Bail After Weymouth Robbery Charge

Derik L. Costa, 27, of 44 Mulvey St., Fall River was arraigned in Quincy District Court on two counts of larceny over $250 and conspiracy. Costa was ordered held without bail pending a hearing on Feb. 22. The charges stem from a Jan. 25, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 4:50 p.m. when police were dispatched to the parking lot at 140 Main St. for a report of an armed robbery. Police said Costa allegedly offered to help when the victim's car overheated, then ordered the woman into the car, gesturing to his waistband that he had a handgun. However, no weapon was shown, police said. During the allegedly robbery Costa made off with $3,800 in deposits from Dunkin' Donuts, $350 in cash, a GPS unit, the woman's driver's license and her cell phone.

Shawn M. Davenport, 27, of 20 Berry St., Quincy was given pretrial probation in Quincy District Court to June 17, 2014 on two counts of larceny over $250. The charges stemmed from a Sept. 11, 2010 incident in Weymouth after police were dispatched to the Main Street Bar & Grill at 1400 Main St., for a report of two stolen pocketbooks.

Nicholas F. Feloney, 19, of 36 Keating Circle, Weymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of misdemeanor breaking and entering, trespassing, and possession of alcohol by a minor. The charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Aug. 22, 2012 incident in Braintree at 11:59 p.m. when police responded to a report of an alarm activation at Arch Bishop Williams High School, 50 Storrs Ave.
