Update: Father Dead, Son in Custody, After Domestic Incident in Weymouth

A man reportedly assaulted with a pipe during an altercation in an East Weymouth neighborhood is reported dead by TV 7 News.

Update: 6:45pm: Weymouth Police identified the suspect as Michael Beaudry, 20,  and the victim, Ronald Beaudry, 58.  Michael Beaudry is in police custody and his father Ronald Beaudry is dead.

Update: 6:10pm: A neighbor who witnessed part of the scene told the Boston Herald“I heard the son screaming, ‘I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to. Please Dad.’ "

Update, 5:24pm: A domestic incident in Weymouth around 3pm today left one man dead, and another in custody, according to TV7 News.

The Weymouth Police Department are currently investigating a "serious altercation" in an East Weymouth neighborhood, the Norfolk District Attorney’s office said Monday evening.

The Massachusetts state police have been dispatched to the altercation which is believed to  have been in the vicinity of Westminster Road and Cross Street on Monday afternoon, according to an email from the  Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

According to the Breaking News Network,  a person was assaulted with a pipe at around 2:30 p.m. Monday and police were on scene reporting cardiac arrest.
