Weymouth Girl Honored for Saving Mother's Life with Smartphone

Aryanna Lynch, 3, saved her sick mother by calling a family member through a smartphone.

Wemouth Police honored a 3-year-old Weymouth girl Wednesday after she saved her mother's life in February by using a smartphone, MyFoxBoston reported

Aryanna Lynch's mother, Tiffany, who is pregnant, lost consciousness last month after enduring a seizure brought on by dehydration due to a stomach bug. Aryanna then unlocked her mother's phone, called a family member and left a message, according to the report.

As a result of her efforts, the toddler on Wednesday received the Safety Officer's Award at the Weymouth Police Department, and was granted a full scholarship to preschool, according to the MyFoxBoston.
