Weymouth Lunch Lady in Sex Scandal Could Face Trial

Janelle Foley, 36, was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.

Janelle Foley, the Weymouth school cafeteria worker charged with having sex with a 15-year-old student, could soon face a trial.

Foley, 36, was indicted on four counts of aggravated statutory rape, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office announced Friday. An indictment means a grand jury has determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case. The upgraded aggravated charge was levied because the age differential of the alleged victim was more than 10 years.

Foley worked at Chapman Middle School.
