Weymouth Business to Give Four Scholarships in Memory of Jonathan “JJ” Jankord

Weymouth High School is now accepting applications for the Bob’s Muffin Shop/Jonathan “JJ” Jankord Memorial Scholarship.

Bobs Muffin Shop owners Vincent and Marie A. Jankord will award four students a $500 scholarship in memory of their son Jonathan who died last March.

According to the high school, this scholarship is made possible by community members coming forward to create a mug, glass and wall with all proceeds benefiting Weymouth High Schools students.

To apply, students must  submit the application along with an essay on the "Benefits of Community Service".

The submission deadline is March 28, 2013. Applications should be submitted to Barbara Deacon in the WHS Gold Guidance Office.
