Public Skating Hours Now Open at Weymouth Ice Rink

Last Friday the Connell Skating Rink, which is operated by the Department of Conservatory and Recreation, opened their public skating to the people of the South Shore.

During the winter months, one of the most popular hang out spots for Weymouth children is the Connell Skating Rink.

Last Friday the Weymouth ice rink, which is operated by the Department of Conservatory and Recreation, opened their public skating to the people of the South Shore.

During the public skates, each Tuesday and Thursday  from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m.-3:50 p.m. anyone can skate for free.

The Connell Skating Rink also has a concession stand and offers skating rentals at a very affordable and family-friendly price.

The rink will continue to hold free public skating each week until March 10. Other South Shore rinks that offer public skating includes Milton’s Ulin Rink, Canton’s  Metropolis Rink, and Quincy’s Shea Rink.
