Women’s Handbag and Clothing Store Moving into Derby Street Shoppes

Kate Spade New York, a women’s handbag, clothing jewelry and accessories store is opening at the Derby Street Shoppes in November in the location next to Sprint.

The store will sell a variety of handbags, women’s tops, sweaters, skirts, dresses, shoes, jewelry and even bridal accessories, according to the company's website.

The new women’s store will open across from Whole Foods in the location which is currently the sports apparel store, Roster. Roster was a temporary tenant and their lease was up, according to DSS Marketing Coordinator Christina Barrows.  Before Roster moved in, the property was home to a Ritz Camera Store.

Kate Spade New York has multiple locations across the country including one on Newbury Street, the Mall at Chestnut Hill and at the Wrentham Outlets.

The Derby Street Shoppes is located off Route 53 on the Hingham/Weymouth border.
