Weymouth Police have identified the body of the man found in the Back Fore River last week but said there was nothing suspicious about the death.
Weymouth Police Cpt. Rick Fuller would not comment on how they believe the body made it into the water but did say there was nothing suspicious found about the death.
Fuller would not release the name of the middle aged man, but did say his family has been notified.

The body was found at the end of Saunders Street, also known as the Back Fore River or Mill Cove last Thursday.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers removed the body of a middle aged man from the water on the Weymouth Harbormaster's boat, according to Friday's statement. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
