After almost a week of searching for her mentally unstable daughter, Mary Smith Ahern of Weymouth said she has located her.
On the South Shore Facebook Page, Ahern thanked local residents for helping her locate her daughter, Rebecca Smith.
"Thank you so much to everyone that helped locate Rebbeca," Ahern posted on Facebook. "We have a location on her!"
Ahern found her daughter just hours after telling Patch that Rebecca made a call to a friend on Monday.
Smith was missing since June 25 and her mother believed she ran away. She had been living with a man in Norwell, who was also searching for her.
Her mother believed she had taken off with a friend but does not know whom.

“I just really need an address for Rebbeca,” Ahern told Patch on Monday evening. “She’s not thinking clearly and she needs someone’s help before she hurts herself.”
